What you will be doing:
Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant
Manage the reservation system, taking guest bookings and accurately recording details
Seat guests promptly and appropriately, considering special requests and preferences
Communicate with guests regarding wait times, menu information, and restaurant promotions
Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station, ensuring menus and promotional materials are up to date
Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth seating and efficient table turnover
Monitor and manage the dining room flow, ensuring all guests receive attentive service
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary
Assist with coordinating private dining events and special occasions
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
Maintaining knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
