Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant revenue, but many restaurants are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains.Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local restaurants compete with big chains.This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes venues and other event services (DJs, florists, etc).

People Ops professional, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture and building exceptional teams. You will be responsible for sourcing and attracting top talent, overseeing the recruitment process, and implementing effective people operations strategies.
Although we have plenty of room to grow, our product has already gained significant traction. Many customers throughout the country pay hundreds of dollars a month for our service. We are backed by leading Silicon Valley VCs, including the first investor in Zoom. We have a tremendous vision for the future and invite you to be part of it!
Requirements
About You
You're an experienced Recruiter &
People Ops professionalwho can join our company and hit the ground running. As an entrepreneurial-minded person, you thrive in the fast-paced environment of start-ups. You value resourcefulness and pragmatism, if you don't know how to do something, you will FITFO. You may have spent time in the Navy, but you are a pirate at heart (metaphorically) - you enjoy the challenge of ambiguity and uncertainty. And, of course, you enjoy eating at great restaurants.
Responsibilities
Attract, recruit, and screen world-class talent
Build a strong company brand to attract top talent
Work closely with team leaders to help them find the best talent for their teams
Assist company leadership in building a strong company culture
Manage employee onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
Need to Haves
5+ years of experience as a Recruiter and/or People Ops at seed-stage startups
Experience using Gem and Linkedin Recruiter to source candidates
Proven track record of successfully building high-performing teams
Solid understanding of recruiting processes and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create and implement effective people ops strategies and programs
Experience managing employee onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
Nice To Haves
Experience scaling teams at seed or series A start-ups
Experience in the restaurant industry and/or at a restaurant tech startup
You love to cook (or eat)
