Founding Physical Education Teacher

ChattAcademy seeks a dynamic and innovative Founding Physical Education Teacher to help establish and lead our new physical education department. As a founding teacher, you will have the opportunity to drive the vision and programming for how we support students in their physical health and incorporate movement into the classroom. As our founding physical education teacher, you will play a critical role in realizing our vision to rethink how students move throughout the school day. Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the framework for our physical education class
Support RTI programming when needed
Partner with general education teachers on incorporating movement into the general education curriculum
Cultivate strong relationships with students and families through trust and communication
Use data to track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Collaborate with school leadership and teachers on continuous improvement
