Forming Shift Supervisor

Job Description
The Forming Shift Supervisorwill supervise hourly employees in the continuous operation of the plant's production activities with a focus on safety, quality, continuous process improvements, and production efficiencies.
The Forming Shift Supervisor will:
Ensure a safe working environment for employees and promote a strong safety culture
Troubleshoot and assist employees operating forming machines
Monitor job change progress and assist in quality decisions
Input key shift performance indicators into production databases
Audit for process control and enforcestandardized work for the entire facility
Ensure that employees are trained and are knowledgeable of department procedures
The Forming Shift Supervisor should have:
Must have forming experience
Strong background with scheduling (people, operations, preventative maintenance)
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead hourly employees
Experience working in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
