Job Description
The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving all materials to its designated areas in the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that lift trucks are inspected for problems at the beginning of each shift. A forklift safety checklist must be filled out prior to operating any forklift.
Operate lift truck in a safe manner in order to complete the shipment and storage of product. Reference WHS-S001.
Deliver product and materials to other departments as needed.
Receive and store pallets and packaging materials.
Ensure that all warehouse areas are clean.
Adhere to all department (level III) procedures and work instructions.
Assist with the identification and elimination of waste within the organization in addition to making suggestions to Warehouse and Shipping Supervisors.
