Foia Analyst Intermediate

TechOp Solutions International is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented FOIA Analyst to join our team. As a FOIA Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with the release of information under the Freedom of Information Act.

Responsibilities:
Review and process FOIA requests from start to finish, ensuring compliance with FOIA regulations
Conduct thorough research to identify responsive data and determine the scope of requests
Prepare and provide advice and guidance to requesters regarding the FOIA process
Coordinate with program offices and other stakeholders to obtain necessary records and clarify responses
Manage and maintain accurate records of FOIA requests and progress
Respond to internal and external inquiries and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in processing FOIA requests
Knowledge of FOIA regulations and procedures
Proficiency in using FOIA tracking systems
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation
