Fire Alarm Service Technician

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection &
life safety services. We are currently seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our Houston, TX location.
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems.
Provide detailed reports and recommended corrective actions to the customer.
Work includes climbing ladders, climbing stairs, lifting at least 50lbs, walking long distances to reach all areas of buildings where work must be performed.
Interact with customers, contractors, and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.
Shift Thursday-Sunday 6pm-6am at Houston International Airport.
Requirements
At least five (5) years’ experience in the field installation, inspection, programming or servicing of fire alarm detection systems.
Proven record of providing excellent customer service and care.
Excellent verbal communication skills required to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers.
Ability to work independently, as well as with other team members.
Valid Texas State Fire Marshal FAL License
Valid Driver’s License
Pass Drug and Background screening, including motor vehicle records, and ability to obtain an airport badge with customs clearance.
Able to obtain NICET I in Fire Alarm Systems in 90 days
