Our wealth management firm is looking for a skilled and experienced financial planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive financial plans for our high net worth clients, providing them with personalized investment strategies and recommendations. You will also be responsible for ongoing monitoring and analysis of their portfolios to ensure they are aligned with their financial goals.
Under limited supervision, our Financial Planner uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience, specialized training or certification to serve as a resource to Financial Advisors and their clients regarding overall financial planning issues. This may include income tax consulting, retirement planning, qualified retirement plans, risk management and insurance planning, estate planning, education funding and small business planning. Resolves or recommends solutions to complex problems. Contact with internal and/or external customers to provide detailed financial planning consultative services.
Requirements
Conduct detailed financial analysis and develop comprehensive financial plans for high net worth clients
Develop personalized investment strategies and recommendations for clients
Monitor and analyze client portfolios to ensure they are aligned with their financial goals
Provide ongoing financial advice and guidance to clients
Collaborate with other professionals, such as tax advisors and estate planning attorneys, to ensure clients' financial needs are met
Stay up-to-date with the latest financial and economic trends and provide guidance to clients on how to navigate them
Maintain accurate and detailed client records
Serves as a resource for Wealth Advisors in designing a tailored comprehensive financial plan
Respond to income tax inquires without providing tax advice
Evaluate overall individual and employer-based retirement needs, research options to provide planning alternatives
Provide guidance on estate planning options and techniques
Respond to and direct client education funding questions
Conduct research as needed related to assigned client cases;
request guidance when necessary
Prepare presentations that clearly communicate recommendations and alternatives related to client plan design
Participate in client presentations as requested by the Wealth Advisor
Assist in marketing materials development
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Your Experience and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required
3+ years of experience in financial planning or a related field
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial planning software
