Financial Analyst

Job Description
Purpose
This position is responsible for supporting the accounting and financial planning and analysis with respect to Actuals, Plans, Latest Best Estimates (LBE), Long Range Plans (LRP), Integration Efforts and Ad-Hocanalysis as needed to support the day-to-day operations and strategic plans for the Eye Care Brand.
Responsibilities
Perform month end activities including month end journal entries, headcount reporting, as well as creating monthly management package and variance commentary.
Support the Plan, LBE &
LRP process for all P&
L expense areas and headcount to include marketing, sales force, cost of goods, and royalty expense.
Responsible for tracking of SGA expenses including marketing, salesforce expense and analyzing monthly actuals compared against Plan/Update/LBE to highlight risks and opportunities.
Ensure financial planning deliverables are accurate, clear, and concise for Executive level review and approval.
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate on project teams as required.
Proactively identify areas of optimization to create efficiencies within Eye Care Finance Process.
Work with cross functional partners (Market Research, Patient Services, Market Access etc.) to understand budget implications on brand.
Ability to work well as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
