Our client, a global Architecture and Design Firm, is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team in Akron, OH.
The financial Analyst will work with 5-6 project managers concurrently to support projects in various phases of design and construction.
* Develop, implement, and maintain external and internal cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.
* Report accurate updates to cost reports or forecasts.
* Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables.
* Ability to compare schedules to financial data to ensure consistency of project timeline.
* Ability to integrate schedule data and other data sources in Excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.
* Analyze project control reports, present findings and provide recommendations to the project controls team.
* Ensure budget tracking against Purchase Orders or Subcontracts.
* Responsible for the review of upstream (prime contract) / downstream (PO &
subcontract) change orders.
* Manage integrated data from one program to another.
* Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables.
* Serves as a point of contact for technical questions from APM's, PM's, Lead Engineers, or Construction staff.
* All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business from an accredited program.
* A minimum of 4 years related experience.
* Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically and make quick and sound decisions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
* Experience with SAP preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
