Job Description
The Accounting Supervisor/Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of employees who post and balance books of account, such as cash book, general journal, sales book, purchase register and general and subsidiary ledgers. This individual acts as the accounting team lead and oversees the preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements, coding of invoices and vouchers with proper account distribution.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Manage Thermopatch, NA Accounting Team. Manage day to day supervision, training and development of the team. Review for presentation and accuracy of their reports with data, breakdown and job quality.
Responsible for month end closing of management accounts with analytical review, cost and inventory analysis, materials usage reports and budgeting and making sure all deadlines are met.
Review all the local compliance reports and make sure submission on timeliness basis including Tax monthly ECR report, monthly statistic reports, EIT monthly &
quarterly declaration, etc.
Maintain cost accounting system:
analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Verify all data accurate on reasonable basis for cost configurator including Labour rate, material cost, freight cost, etc. Maintain and ensure those cost data update to reflect for all price changes during the period.
Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program;
investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
Coordinate annual audit &
work with the auditors to answer queries and provide analysis as required in a timely manner during annual audit process.
Cost control by investigating purchase price and auditing all expenses claim.
Involved in major suppliers or projects for price negotiation with other departments like PMC and administration to control the costs and process.
Liaison with local authority like tax department, custom department and consultant.
Handle other ad hoc projects assigned.
