About this role:
As Finance Shared Services Manager, you will lead a team responsible for multiple processes with focus being on recovery of outstanding balances owed to the organization. Assisting with development of strategies for overall collections team to drive performance to reduce and control debt balance
And loss. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance and resolve queries. This position reports to Director - Finance Shared Services, leader of the US Collections team.
What you will be doing:
Oversight and effective management of assigned team, including responsibility for the accuracy of all data being produced by the team.
Oversee performance of assigned portfolio and ensure goals and targets being achieved
Ensure team compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures and regular updates completed as necessary
Assist with production and delivery of month end reporting to senior leadership
Develop reporting and ensure all goals applicable and updated as necessary
Ensure timely and actionable feedback and coaching being delivered to each member of your team
What you bring:
RelevantexperienceinBusinessAdministration,Finance,andAccountingorarelevantdiscipline with 5+yearsofworkexperiencein a similar role
At least 3 years of experience in leading high performing teams
Demonstrated experience in debt collections or Accounts Receivable function
Strong communication skills, ability to liaise with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
A good understanding of accounting principles and IFRS standards
Proven experience managing a high performing team
A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred
