Posting Address Bangor, Maine, USPosition Overview The person in this position will manage residential and commercial meter exchange projects throughout the U.S., beginning with our meter exchange program in Bangor, Maine, holding responsibility for all aspects of the project including budgets, scope management, installations, warehousing, safety and training, etc. Duties and Responsibilities + Ensure timely and on-budget execution of projects with high customer satisfaction + Lead the project team (Field, Warehouse, Safety/Quality Supervisors) + Manage subcontractors, including schedule, cost and quality + Act as the primary liaison with client, defining/managing/prioritizing scope and schedule + Write change orders, SOWs and other project documentation (as applicable) + Perform safety and quality audits + Issue management and escalation + Timely status reporting Skills and Experience Required:
+ Education:
Bachelor's Degree OR Associate Degree combined with formal Project Management training. This education requirement must be in combination with the below professional requirements.Professional Experience:
+ Smart grid knowledge combined with three to seven years of project management experience with a field-based component in the utility industry (hardware installations or similar with geographic distribution)+ Experience working in a highly independent environment+ Experience presenting on-site with internal and external field resources and clients+ Proven track record of effectively leading project scope, budget, and resources+ Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to expert level) and other Microsoft Office products (Word, MS Project, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio)+ Willingness and ability to travel, according to assignment(s)Preferred:
+ Experience running AMI Meter Deployment projects with both in-house and subcontracted employeesPhysical Demand:
