OVERVIEW:
The Field Operations Manager is responsible for directing tile, terrazzo, stone installation, and floor covering activities in accordance with established budgets, schedules, plans, specs, procedures, safety standards and company standards. Directs and oversees field workers that are responsible for installation of assigned work in assigned geographical area(s) including performing installations. This person is responsible for manpower, planning, procurement, and onsite installation to ensure the work is completed within budget. Recruits new personnel when necessary and authorized by Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Working with project Managers to plan assigned jobs and ensure timely receipt of all needed materials, equipment, and tools to avoid work delays.
Quality Control
Attending Project Shop Drawing Reviews.
Attending Pre-construction meetings.
Attending routine job and safety meetings to promote communication between all parties acting proactively to prevent and resolve problems.
Providing input on means, methods, layouts, etc.
Recruiting needed field employees.
Developing day-to-day schedules.
Coordinating the material and equipment delivery schedules.
Overseeing and training field employees to assure project requirements are fully met in addition to recommending them for future assignment with the company
MUST HAVE:
5 Years of Commercial Tile Setting Experience
5 Years as a Foreman/Lead and the ability to oversee a team from a distance.
