We are looking for the right people who have a heart for elementary aged students and this important work!
The Boys &
Girls Club of the Foothills is providing a safe, fun, structured after-school program for young people in TK-5th grade to safely engage in social/emotional learning and enrichment activities designed to meet their wide range of needs.
Primary responsibilities:
Ensure our young people are safe,
Build transformative relationships with them
Support young people in their academic needs
Plan/implement enriching programs/activities for them
Experience preferred, but we are equally willing to train.
All qualified candidates will be screened and fingerprint background checked before being hired.
Hours:
Shift up to 5.5 hour per/day
Monday - Friday - Summer/Fall morning and afternoon shifts available
This Job will start as soon as your interview and background check are processed and cleared by the BGCF hiring panel.

Requirements
The qualifications for this position include:
Passion for mentoring and youth development
Culturally competent with the ability to work with a diverse group of youth (ethnicity and backgrounds)
Positive, can-do attitude, good work ethic and the ability to take on new challenges
Team player
Ability to implement Boys &
Girls Clubs of the Foothills curriculum
Preferred - Ability to drive club minivans for transporting students
Reliable personal transportation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to perform certain duties.
The noise level in the work environment can range from quiet to moderate in office settings to moderate and usually loud in recreation and play settings when members are present.
