The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all building-related activities for the firm’s various office locations. This role will manage the facilities day-to-day operations, ensuring the physical infrastructure, including buildings, equipment and utilities run smoothly. The Facilities Manager will coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment, fixtures, and systems, to create a safe and well-functioning environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee the general facility for all geographic locations
Manage multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for our facilities
Inspect physical properties and identify all areas in need of immediate or future repairs and maintenance
Responsible for all facets of required facility inspections including conducting and documenting regular facility inspections to determine the need for repairs or renovations
Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments
Direct the project management of location moves, adds, and change activities
Schedule maintenance or repairs to minimize disruptions to organizational operations wherever possible,obtaining price and labor quotes as necessary
Responsible for processing and approving all invoices for services and accuracy of cost center coding
Oversees building and grounds maintenance
Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented correctly
Validate results from risk assessment and implement where necessary
Support and negotiate contractor and contract vendors for all outside required work
Review and work with vendors on all service contracts for our facilities
Inspect and follow up with vendor quality and scheduled work
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
Other duties as assigned

Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to climb ladders up to 15 feet
Ability to bend, twist, squat and frequently lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
5-7 years of proven job building maintenance experience
At least 50% - Travel to Rea offices throughout regions
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
Maintenance skills related to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, machine/equipment repair and emergency response and security systems
Project Management skills, including planning, organizing, coordinating tasks
