The Maintenance Technician executes and routine maintenance to our facilities, grounds, and equipment. The successful candidate will complete regular maintenance to keep up the function and appearance of our facilities, grounds, and equipment. They will also be able to use their own observations, and inputs from others, to make maintenance recommendations. This individual will be hands on. They will spend most of their time executing maintenance work.
Responsibilities
Maintain our facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure to function, appearance, and workplace safety
Regularly inspect all campuses, take feedback, and make recommendations to ensure we are proactively taking care of our grounds, facilities, and equipment
Maintenance examples
Facilities
Repair/Upgrade – buildings, mechanical systems, electrical
Waste and recycling services
Grounds:
Sprinklers, landscaping, parking lot safety
Equipment:
Company vehicles, man-lifts, fork-lifts
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
Experience in maintenance or construction
Experience reading and interpreting layout drawings and schematics
Hands on experience with building mechanical or electrical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
HVAC and/or plumbing experience
Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with customers to identify and prioritize customer needs
Positive, cooperative attitude with a passion for improvement, quality work, and achieving deadlines
Typical work week is 40-45 hours. There will be times where you need to be able to work around production business hours.
