What a Facilities &
Maintenance Technician will do:
- Inspect buildings, production equipment, and systems to identify issues using a proactive approach
- Assist and/or repair down production equipment
- Assist in the development of facilities and production equipment preventative maintenance processes and procedures
- Manage HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Coordinate and schedule repairs
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
- Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
What you need to be a Facilities &
Maintenance Technician:
- High School degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Capable and available to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Physically capable of sitting, standing, walking the manufacturing floor, and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks
- Must have solid work attendance and be reliable
