Position Title:
Expanded Learning Program Leader (Guadalupe Elementary School)
$300 signing bonus after 60 days of Employment
We are currently seeking committed and passionate Instructors to lead Academic, Enrichment and Recreation activities for the Expanded Learning Program. Our ideal Program Instructor will have a strong dedication to youth development, a sense of creativity and enthusiasm and be able to commit to working the entire school year.

Pay rate:
$22-$25 an hour DOE
Flexible hours negotiated upon hiring (20 – 30 hours per week)
16 paid holidays per year

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work Monday – Friday until 6:
00 pm for the duration of the school year (hours will be determined at time of offer, between 20 – 30 hours per week until 6:
00pm)
Must have an AA degree or higher, 48 + college credits OR pass the SFUSD Instructional Aide Exam
Must pass a criminal background check and have TB Clearance
Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and BACR staff.
Passionate about youth development
Experience working with Elementary youth preferred
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to plan and facilitate activities for up to 20 students
Must be able to work independently or part of a team
Actively supervise and ensure student safety at all times
Model positive and proactive attitudes, behaviors and language
Responsibilities:
Create, plan and facilitate engaging enrichment and recreation activities based on student skill level and interest
Support students in developing the skills they need to be successful in schools and life
Actively supervise and ensure student safety at all times
Communicate with parents regarding students progress and behavior
Work with the coordinator and school site staff to strengthen the academic components of programming
