Job Description
As an Excursions Captain, you will:
Have enthusiasm, energy, and job devotionto provide the best experience for guests.
Plan, prepare, participate, arrange &
conduct adult and children’s excursions while maintaining brand standards.
Prepare, participate, arrange, and conduct special events.
Work with excursion manager on day-to-day excursion related tasks
Assist with presenting to manager or director ideas and budgets for excursion &
special event activities.
Assist excursion manager with maintaining contact with vendors, local entertainment establishments and suppliers of activities related businesses.
Fill out daily log and tallyguest participation.
Handle money transactions and accounting procedures.
Sign upguestsfor excursion activities.
Enforce safety rules and procedures with resort guests.
Perform other tasks related to recreation and adventure deptartment;
Including clerical/administrative duties, budgeting, working with leadership on industry trends for excursions and special events.
Maintain inventory of excursion or event items as needed.
