The Marketing Team is responsible for the acquisition and retention of customers through all marketing channels. Working in close collaboration with Communications, Sales Departments, and wider business stakeholders with the aim to drive the growth and reputation ofSportradarproducts, services and brands to the industry, clients, and partners.The Marketing team is responsible for a unified appearance of theSportradarbrandto internal and external stakeholders throughout all campaigns produced and marketing channels used.
THE ROLE:
We’re seeking a highly process driven Event Marketing Manager, to work cross functionally with the Group Head of Marketing and other members of the Global Marketing Team and in close partnership with our Global Communications team.
The role is suitable for an individual who is comfortable with juggling multiple deliverables at any given time, working with multiple internal stakeholders and external vendors to plan and deliver tradeshows, conference participation and client hospitality activations.
Reporting to the Group Head of Event Marketing you will provide support on implementation and activation across our event portfolio marketing plan and portfolio. The role’s key areas of responsibility lie with day-to-day event administrative delivery and logistics and process coordination - and is ideally suited for someone who thrives on ‘getting the job done’. Specific areas of delivery are listed below.
The ideal candidate is obsessed with meticulous event research, planning, and execution and thrives in an ambiguous, fast-moving organization. As a candidate you should have exceptional administration skills, keeping record of multiple event and project details at a times. As a candidate you demonstrate existing experience in event marketing/planning/production and are looking to take the step up in your career to help drive activation in what is a key area of the marketing mix at Sportradar. A passion for Sport and Technology would be a bonus.
Key areas of responsibility:
Planning and organization of key events, tradeshows, conferencesand hospitality experiences alongside other members of the team
Familiarity with conference best practices including design, logistics and all other areas of execution.
Manage stand build vendors, venues, catering, signage, AV, and other technical supplierswho are external to Sportradar.
Research into event opportunities / venues and suppliers including but not limited to hosting Sportradar own events and client hospitality such as Golf days.
Booking event tickets / hospitality tickets / sponsorship deals and panel speaking opportunities with event owners once aligned with internal company stakeholders.
Administrative tasks (financial administration, SharePoint administration, company credit card administration etc.)
Maintaining internal company documents and digital resources with up-to-date event by event information
Procure services in line with relevant procurement policies, compliance, and wider company policies.
Maintaining financial reports on projects reporting into line manager
Coordinating with internal departments and individuals (ticket distribution, event registration, travel bookings etc.)
Managing marketing materials(print and digital) with Product Marketing team including supply for event use etc
Reporting – on event success, ROI, feedback and KPIs using PPT, Excel and other tools to consolidate into summary reports.
Strong attention to detail and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and able to work to tight deadlines, while driving team toward long-term objectives
Able to effectively cross collaborate with creative services teams on all aspects of event design – stand/print etc while working to established brand guidelines and internal sign off processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, motivated, and good relationship builder with internal and external stakeholders
Some onsite time / travel at events may be required including weekend– to be decided on a case-by-case basis.
