Summary
A Equipment Uptime Technicianwill join our Anode Manufacturing group and maintain, troubleshoot, and repair, as needed, process equipment for chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of silicon anode products. The ideal candidate will have significant experience maintaining and operating vacuum systems and associated electronics, particularly for semiconductors, solar, or related manufacturing environments. This is a TEMP to PERM role.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with the Maintenance Technicians team to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plasma-enhanced and thermal CVD process equipment.
Execute preventative maintenance plans and support continuous improvements in equipment throughput and production uptime.
Generate, implement, and update maintenance procedures.
Mentor and supervise Maintenance Technicians as required, including adherence to documented procedures.
Help ensure correct and sufficient parts and equipment are held in inventory as spares and floor stock.
Operate CVD process equipment to support production, as needed.
Requirements
Expertise in working with and troubleshooting vacuum systems, such as leak testing, diagnosing pump or sensor issues, etc. Experience with CVD, sputtering, dry etch, roll-to-roll processing or similar technologiesis desirable.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic electronics and ability to read schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
Proficient with using computers for generating documentation, database input, spare parts management, and communication.
Education &
Skills
5+ years of experience in a semiconductor or similar production environment
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Committed to environmental health and safety
Strong work ethic and high accountability
Highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details

This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
Adhere to the company’s quality and safety requirements.
Be able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Will be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull, climb ladders
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator, and safety shoes.

Salary:
$25.00 - $42.00 per hour. Depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.
