Environmental Scientist

Job Description
Our Southeast region works on a wide variety of interesting projects which provides the ability to work on a broad range of complex environmental issues. This is a great opportunity to continue to develop your project and client management expertise under the guidance of senior level management.
Environmental Scientists conduct due diligence assessments and remediation project tasks and may assist more senior colleagues with management tasks including proposal preparation and project management.
Conduct and prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and other environmental reports
Conduct and prepare Phase II field investigation activities, and environmental sampling (soil, groundwater, soil gas, and indoor air)
Write detailed ESA reportsincluding the preparation of accurate data/summary tables and/or figures
Assist senior managers in the coordination of work activities for multiple project functions to ensure satisfying delivery
Assist senior managers in the meeting milestones, budgetary limits, deadlines, or other performance indicators
Assist in the selection and/or management of project staff members and subcontractors
Prepare and implement Health and Safety Plans/Job Safety Analyses for sites.
Other responsibilities as assigned
