Environmental Project Manager

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Environmental Services firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Project Manager in Reno, NV.
Responsibilities:
The work includes field and office work.
Examples of work include Phase I &
Phase II site assessments, industrial hygiene assessments, and sampling of soil, groundwater, or air
Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned sector;
recommend measures to improve performance and increase efficiency;
manage staff utilization and profitability
Track personnel actions and staff development including support for recruiting and hiring and training measures for assigned staff
Lead and manage quality control, including assurance that quality work is planned and organized through a pro-active project management system, and implements corrective measures as needed
Provide hands-on mentoring and team participation to create a bridge between technical resources and client requirements and ensure there is appropriate leadership and supervision engaged on technical assignments
Requirements
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to write technical reports and proposals
Ability to perform field work requiring physical exertion
Capable of multitasking;
and
Good driving record acceptable to company’s insurer
5 - 10 years of experience as an environmental scientist or Geologist
