Entry Level Transportation Planner

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, self-drivenEntry Level Transportation Planner to join a large, dynamic, and highly technical team of planners, engineers, and technicians in the Franklin, Tennessee office.
Our planning team is housed in the AECOM transportation business line, but we also contribute to projects across other disciplines, including water resources (particularly green infrastructure planning), economic and community planning, and environmental planning. All our work is grounded in effective, meaningful, and equitable public and stakeholder engagement.
The position offers the opportunity for a recent graduate or current planner with limited job experience to contribute to a variety of consulting projects in Tennessee and elsewhere, including:
Transportation corridor planning.
Transit studies.
Transportation Demand Management programs.
Roadway and bridge design.
Bicycle and pedestrian systems analysis.
Community outreach.
Economic development and housing studies.
Land use and comprehensive planning.
Policy analysis.
