Entry-Level Transportation Planner

Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Planner to be based in Hunt Valley, MD.
This position is expected to begin in Summer 2024.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Supports planning studies and reports for new and updated plans and programs.
Prepares and presents detailed reports on transportation planning projects and feasibility studies.
Develops conceptual transportation improvement alternatives.
Prepare sections of NEPA documents, such as project background, purpose and need, and alternatives analysis.
Collects a variety of statistical data and prepares reports.
Develops GIS mapping on topics, such as crash history, level-of-service, traffic volumes, and pedestrian activity.
Coordinates community review of transportation projects.
Assists in resolving citizen and customer issues.
Under direct supervision, conducts field evaluations and assessments.
