Entry-Level Highway Design Civil Engineer

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking an Entry Level Highway Design Civil Engineer in the Harrisburg, PA area to join AECOM’s Transportation team.
This position is flexible to begin in Fall or Winter of 2024.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Design of roadway geometry, traffic control, signing and pavement markings
Utility coordination support
Computer Aided Design production
Calculation of quantities and cost estimates
