MRV Consulting is offering an opportunity for engineering undergraduates to gain professional development experience in the business consulting field. As an Associate Consultant in our Machinery and Technical Specialties practice, you will gain experience in valuation, cost segregation studies, purchase price allocation, and appraisal assignments while applying your engineering knowledge to address business-related matters.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop cost estimation of construction projects, machinery and equipment, commercial and industrial facilities, and utilities utilizingcosting manuals such as Handy-Whitman, Marshall &
Swift, andRS Means.
Analyze technical specifications, site plans, engineering and construction drawings, construction payment requisitions, and other documentation.
Data consolidation (research, collect, verify completeness, reliability, and accuracy).
Prepare blueprint and quantity takeoffs, spreadsheets, and reports.
Participate in site visits.
Timely delivery of high-quality work products.
Client interfacing related to research and information requests.
Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships.
