About the team:
Join our innovative team at Worldpay, where we are dedicated to optimizing enterprise monitoring solutions on a global scale. As part of the team, you will lead a talented team to manage, optimize, and provide 24x7 support for our monitoring tools, ensuring system efficiency and reliability. Your strategic oversight will involve inventorying current tools, reducing redundancies, transitioning systems to new platforms, and offering strategic guidance for our global payment platforms.
What you will be doing:
The Director of Enterprise Monitoring will build and lead a global team responsible for managing the enterprise monitoring solution. The role involves identifying current monitoring tools, reducing redundancy, and transitioning systems to optimized platforms. The team under this leadership will provide 24x7 support for the tools.
Lead the global team to manage and optimize the enterprise monitoring solutions.
Inventory current tools, make recommendations on replacements, and eliminate redundancies.
Oversee the transition of end systems to new platforms.
Ensure 24x7 support for monitoring tools.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to leaders reporting from around the globe.
Optimize and staff the infrastructure to support enterprise monitoring.
What you bring:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing enterprise monitoring tools.
At least 5 years of experience in leading global teams that have implemented and rolled out various monitoring tools which include Splunk, DsTool, Prognosis and others.
Experience using strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
