New York State Certified English Teacher-Hannibal High School
Full-Time English Teacher (Probationary, Tenure Track)
Beginning September 1, 2024
The Hannibal Central School District is seeking an inspiring and dedicated New York State Certified English Teacher to join our high school team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts lessons aligned with NYS standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative instructional strategies. We have embraced the essence of Professional Learning Communities as you join a Professional Learning Team!
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student success.
Qualifications:
- New York State Certification in English Language Arts (Grades 7-12).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the drive to help others cultivate their own skills
- Commitment to building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
