Engineering Leader

Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and vision for the entire engineering organization, driving the development of innovative AI and machine learning solutions for the healthcare SaaS platform
Architect and oversee the design and implementation of highly scalable, robust, and secure software systems and infrastructure components
Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the engineering team, promoting best practices and cutting-edge technologies
Collaborate closely with the co-founders, executive team, and cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with the company's overall strategic objectives and product roadmap
Hire, mentor, and develop exceptional engineering talent, building high-performing teams and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services, adhering to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in software development and DevOps
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a co-founder and CTO of at least one successful startup, with a track record of building and scaling AI-powered products from the ground up
Deep expertise in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and their applications in the healthcare domain
Extensive knowledge of cloud computing, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and scalable software infrastructure
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, as well as relevant frameworks and tools
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a Level 5 or Level 6 engineer at a FAANG company (Google, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, or Meta)
Proven success in leading and growing engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
Hands-on experience with healthcare data, regulatory compliance (e.G., HIPAA, GDPR), and security best practices
Expertise in agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and DevOps practices
Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to balance technical excellence with practical business considerations
