Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking to add an Engineering Internfor our Chicago, Illinoisoffice. Our business focuses primarily on providing professional and technical services in the engineering design, code consultation, and construction phase services for a wide variety of clients both in the private and public sectors. We execute large and complex engineering projects and provide a comprehensive range of professional planning and design, systems engineering and technical assistance, program and construction management, and operations and maintenance services.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of grant writing principles, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Identifying and researching grant opportunities in the energy sector.
Assisting in writing grant applications, including conducting background research and creating a calendar of grant deadlines to ensure timely submission of proposals.
Assist in developing outreach and marketing materials for stakeholder engagement.
Perform research related activities and compile related information.
