Blue Sky Utility, a leading innovator in sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a talented and analytical Senior Policy Analyst to join our team in Florida. As a key member of our policy team, you will conduct and oversee policy and regulatory analyses for Blue Sky Utility, collaborating with cross-functional teams and business leaders on strategic issues. The Senior Policy Analyst will be pivotal in conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, influencing the development of regulatory strategies, and supporting policy positions and regulatory filings.
Key Accountabilities
Perform in-depth analysis, develop recommendations, and craft proposals in critical areas of utility, energy, and climate policy.
Simplify complex information for various audiences, including internal teams, leaders, and external stakeholders through presentations, memos, reports, and regulatory filings.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor industry and policy shifts, pinpointing core issues and their strategic implications to guide recommended actions.
Lead the application for and management of energy incentives, aligning with sustainable energy projects and company objectives.
Contribute technical and strategic expertise to enhance energy policies, rate case strategies, and other company initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required;
a graduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
At least three years incentives and regulatory experience.
Proven problem-solving abilities, with a knack for breaking down complex issues and proposing data-driven, logical solutions.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for diverse quantitative analyses.
Exceptional time management skills and the capacity to proactively assess workload.
A solid understanding of energy and environmental policy, especially the utility sector's role in delivering essential services;
utility regulation knowledge is a plus.
Willingness to work in a Hybrid office setting.

and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current annual salary range is $95,000-$110,000.
