THE ROLE:
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with financial services clients (e.G., banks, private equity firms) to develop relationships;
acquire new business and manage project deliverables
Develop relationships with client decision makers, identify leads, and contribute to the development of proposals that turn into client engagements
Manage client engagements and maintain quality control, budget and schedule of all deliverables, with demonstrated excellence, with a focus on technical and market due diligence
Lead the project team ensuring all team members know and agree their tasks, budget, deadlines etc. Lead the interaction with the client
Exceed client expectations of quality
Manage revenue by ensuring invoices are sent as payments are received
Work with the Operations Manager to agree resource allocation
Keep the client informed of progress against plan – weekly or as appropriate
Liaise with the Project Executive on the quality of analysis, strategic input etc.
Report monthly to the Project Executive and Operations Director on performance against contract and plan:
- Deliverables and timeline vs plan/contract
- Costs and hours billed vs. budget (labor and non-labor)
- Invoicing and payment vs. contract
Capture intellectual capital generated for future use
Close out the project on completion
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
Significant experience within the industry with a specific technical/commercial due diligence experience
Focus on the financial services sector (banks, PE, etc.)
Excellent presentation and report writing skills
Demonstrable leadership and management skills
Experience of delivering business cases to sponsors and investors
Personal Qualities:
Positive and flexible attitude to work particularly on new initiatives
Excellent verbal communication skills in English
Diplomatic in meeting and working with people, good cultural awareness
Advanced knowledge of excel, and use of databases
Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities
