NexantECA, the Energy and Chemicals Advisory company, seeks a Senior Consultant for an opportunity in our consulting team based in Houston. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' of work experience in petrochemicals, chemicals, and/or polymers, 5 years' or more, of which has been in consulting.
The consulting team at NexantECA is required to win proposals and deliver analysis in the energy, chemicals, and petrochemicals fields in support of blue-chip clients within the industry and international financial community.

As a Senior Consultant you will;

Assist in the execution, delivery, and management of technical, market, and techno-economic consulting engagements.
Work closely with clients’ teams and assist in building strong client relationships.
Contribute to work relating to proposal preparation, business development, and sales.
Provide insightful product, market, technology and business evaluations and formulate appropriate strategies with the aim to drive long term value for our clients.
Manage and deliver business analysis for reports and presentations.
Work across a broad range of chemicals and polymers including bio-based materials and the evolving circular economy.
Meet client and internal time and budget constraints.
Participate in the identification of leads for consulting assignments.
Assist and support team members in all aspects of engagement delivery.
Requirements
Education &
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant energy industry discipline e.G., chemistry or chemical engineering.
Excellent standard of academic qualification.
Skills &
Experience:

5-10 years' relevant work experience with 5 or more years' in consulting.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for interacting with clients in English.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft spreadsheets, word processing and presentation applications.
Experience of advanced analytical and visualization techniques is a plus.
