$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)

Employment Coordinator - Full Time
Location:
Wakefield, MA
Rate of Pay:
$19.55 per hour;
plus $40 bi-weekly stipend for second language
Hours:
40 Hours per week
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:
30am-4:
30pm
Summary:
Use your creative job seeking skills to support people with disabilities secure and succeed in community-based employment.
Be part of a creative supportive team to help people with disabilities reach their vocational goals.
Participate in an intelligent progressive team approach working closely with State funding sources to include MassAbility and the Department of Developmental Services.
Case manage anddevelop employment relationships between the people you support and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities.
Provide individualized supports to assist people with the employment skills they need to include;
resume writing, interview skills, travel training and job etiquette.
Qualifications:
High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 1-2 years related experience OR Associate’s degree plus 1 year related experience and/or training.
One year of human service experience desired.
Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.
Requirements:
Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential.
Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.
Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
