Primary Responsibilities:

• Plans, lays-out, constructs, modifies, repairs and/or installs new or existing electric and electronic equipment at an advanced level. May include PLC’s, PC’s, and Data Collector’s Sensor’s or other electronic equipment.
• Designs and modifies program coding for the PLC’s data collectors, PC’’s or other electronic equipment in order to control, track or identify discrepancies with production or industrial data transmission.
• Configures, installs, and supports cabling and communications linkages between electronic equipment and systems. Troubleshoots faulty operations, diagnoses problems, recommends corrective action and expedites repair of systems.
• Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and principles, wiring specifications, codes, properties or various materials and principles of operations and application of acceptable electronic and mechanic procedures.
• Plans and performs mechanical work as needed.
• Trains new personnel. Practices and teaches effective safety procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
