Our electrical maintenance engineer will handle the upkeep of plant manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. They will also design and install equipment upgrades. This role requires working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborating within a team environment. Additionally, this individual will train plant maintenance technicians in electrical troubleshooting and repairs. The electrical maintenance engineer reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. This is primarily a first-shift position, but the candidate must be available on-call for plant breakdowns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
Repair equipment and plant electrical systems
Test electronic components
Design equipment upgrades
Build machine control panels
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to program AC and DC drives
Ability to program PLCs experience with Siemens PLCs
Ability to operate a wide range of electrical test equipment including:
Multimeters, power monitors, infrared imaging tools, etc.
Ability to use AutoCAD
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
At least 5-years experience as an Industrial Electrician or Electronics Technician
Preferred
