Only Travelers are defined as those staying more than 75 miles from the facility. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $52.41, which includes a taxable wage of $39.66 and a per diem of $12.75.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiographic examinations on patients as ordered by physicians.
Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Prepare patients for echocardiographic procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Analyze and evaluate echocardiographic data, providing preliminary findings to physicians.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in echocardiography and cardiac imaging.
Requirements:
Education:
Completion of an accredited program in echocardiography or cardiovascular technology.
Certification:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification.
Experience:
Prior experience in a clinical setting performing echocardiographic procedures.
Skills:
Proficiency in operating echocardiography equipment and related technology.
Strong analytical skills to interpret echocardiographic data.
Excellent patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
