Early Childhood Educator

Our partner is looking for a Early Childhood Educator in Redwood City, CA. The educator will be working with children as a teacher within a team and have opportunities for career development and further education. The work involves creating a safe and stimulating environment for children from infancy to kindergarten preparation.
Responsibilities
Create and lead activities based on observations of children's interests and needs.
Communicate daily with parents, documenting and sharing important milestones.
Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following important procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree is preferred.
At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred.
Completion of 12 Child Development units, including courses in Child Development, Child, Family, and Community, Introduction to Curriculum, and Principles and Practices. For Infant or Toddler positions, Infant and Toddler Development class is required.
Transcripts will be required at the time of hire.
AA/BA in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
Must pass required state and company background checks, meeting state and company minimum education and experience requirements.

Compensation Range:
$25.75 - $31.25 per hour
