Full job description
Peak Living Maintenance is looking for an experienced Painter! Painters will be responsible for general interior and exterior painting-related projects, touch-ups and coordinating larger painting projects including paint-patching, drywall, and finishes. Additional knowledge and experience in maintenance is a plus!
Job Duties &
Responsibilities
- Safely prepares walls/surfaces for caulking, drywall, paint-patching, sealing, and coating.
- Applies various finishes, lacquer, varnish or paint
- Fills holes in surfaces such as nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster, or another filler
- Mud, tape and patch drywall for smooth application
- Remove old paint-coating to surfaces including windows/trim, walls, ceiling, roof and other parts of building
- Prepares, cleans and tapes all job sites and cleans up debris
- Safely removes corrosion and paint-stripping, coating and any possible chemical reactivation of paint surfaces
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of tools and supplies
- Performs Maintenance and other related duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of painting materials including selecting mixing and applying them safely
- Attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to work on alone and on a team
- Ability to safely use equipment and wear required, necessary PPE and Attention to detail
- Strong Communication/Customer Service Skills
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Time Management
- Physical dexterity and balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.

Education &
Experience:
- 2 years experience as a painter, or similar field
- Maintenance and general repair experience preferred
- Active WA State Drivers License
- Personal tools/painting supplies preferred
