Driver'S Education Instructor

Job Description
Provides special instruction to students in compliance with school-system and program requirements, state and federal regulations
Implements an instructional, therapeutic and skill development program for differentiated learning levels
Conducts formal and informal assessments of all students
Plans and uses appropriate instructional strategies to include the integration of activities, materials and equipment that align with the accommodations as set in the student’s Individual Education Plan
Plans and supervises assignments for staff members assisting with students
Establishes and maintains appropriate, open lines of communication with all parties, to include but not limited to students, therapists, school district personnel, parents and co-workers
Attends all required meetings and trainings offered by program
Completes required documentation within timelines, including recording of grades and attendance
Abides by and demonstrates the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis
Performs other duties as assigned
