We are looking for a dynamic DOD Program Administrator to support the office of the Executive Secretary within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (OUSD(P&
R)).
This position will report to a CATHEXIS task lead who will assist them with their transition into their day-to-day responsibility of supporting our client. They will join a larger CATHEXIS team that supports other OUSD(P&
R) offices.
The DOD Program Administrator will provide administrative, organizational, and process management to senior level decision makers within OUSD(P&
R). They will regularly coordinate with stakeholders within the Department of Defense (DoD) and with other government agencies to manage tasks. The work location of this position is at the Pentagon.
Responsibilities:

Provides administrative services to the Office of the Executive Secretary (ESD), to include processing of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) inquiries, responses, and timelines
Utilizing the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS), organizes, processes, and responds to FOIA inquiries within the OUSD P&
R portfolio
Delegates assignments to subordinate offices as required;
effectively communicates timelines and monitors suspense dates. Follows up with assigned offices as required
Maintains weekly and monthly tracking system to measure organizational efficiency. Tracking may also include high visibility items, overdue requests, and maintenance of executive dashboards;
provides regular updates to leadership
Reviews documentation for compliance
Coordinates with government lead on identification of priorities and assigned tasking
Maintains policies and procedures specific to the FOIA portfolio;
provides recommendations for future efficiencies/improvements
Requirements:
Current Secret Clearance Required
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience supporting DoD programs
Experience with the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) or other similar systems required
Experience working with or knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act (preferred)
Skill
Organized with a strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask, track multiple due dates, and adapt to shifting priorities
Experience working in or supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense (preferred)
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Experience with standard MS Office suite products and SharePoint
Ability to maintain consistent performance in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
Skilled in communicating effectively and maintaining good working relations with diverse groups
