Director Product Line Management

Job Description
Renesas is seeking a Product Management Director or Sr. Director for its High-Performance System Power product line. These push the technology limits of speed, density, and efficiency and deliver power to the highest performance computing and connectivity functions. Typical applications include Artificial Intelligence, High Performance Networking, and other High Performance Computing applications. This role sits within our Performance Power Solutions business, which is one of the fastest-growing and exciting product lines at Renesas, with a multi-market scope and a large product development team. This position can be located in any one of our main offices in the central or western US, preferably Austin, Dallas, or Phoenix.
We are looking for a leader to define and lead the team building out our product strategy and portfolio, to grow and expand the business, and manage the products throughout their lifecycles. This role offers the opportunity to build a highly strategic and visible product portfolio working closely with the largest global Cloud Service Providers and CPU/GPU ecosystem enablers.
The scope of responsibilities include:
Overall business leader for the product line, with P&
L responsibility
Defining a product line vision, strategy, portfolio and roadmap within the targeted application spaces
Scaling and developing the business and engineering teams supporting the product line
Preparing business plans for new product concepts and proposals
Promoting new and existing products to the market
Managing pricing and quotations for strategic opportunities
Managing products throughout the entire product lifecycle
A successful candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated, and work with a sense of urgency. The candidate must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to lead and/or influence multi-disciplinary organizations such as Product Management, Applications Engineering, IC Development Engineering, and Field Sales.
