Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Oversee the daily operations of the surgical services department, ensuring efficiency and high standards of care.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of surgical professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Operational Excellence:
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance departmental performance and patient outcomes.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage the surgical services budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality care.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field;
Masters degree preferred.
Master's degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in surgical services or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years as director of Surgical Services in a critical care hospital required
Licensure:
Current RN license in the state of Arizona or and/or Compact State Registered Nurse required
Skills:
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and improving surgical services.
Certifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required upon hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association required upon hire
Moderate Sedation Certification preferred
