Role Overview:
Lead and ensure the success of the site in growth and execution, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for employees and the surrounding community. Deliver on key operational metrics, including safety, environmental, quality, production, spending, and customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide coaching and performance feedback to direct reports and site employees.
Develop and execute production strategies.
Maintain a positive relationship with the Union.
Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing, ensuring regulatory compliance and budget control.
Ensure production capacity meets customer needs and future requirements.
Manage community relations proactively.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (MBA preferred).
3-4 years of experience as a Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Production Manager.
Experience with Hazardous Material and PSM.
Union experience highly preferred.
