GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Nursing is a key member of the Leadership Team and plays a major role in the culture of caring and commitment throughout the organisation. They serve as a clinical leader, guide all aspects of resident care, foster teamwork amongst staff, and promote both clinical and educational development.

In this pivotal role, you'll be a visionary leader who:
Spearheads Infection Prevention:
Lead the fight against infections by developing a proactive program and fostering a culture of safety.
Elevates Clinical Excellence:
Ensure residents receive the highest quality care, delivered according to the latest standards and best practices.
Orchestrates Seamless Transitions:
Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to optimize resident care plans and ensure smooth admissions and discharges.
Empowers a Dynamic Team:
Foster a collaborative environment where nurses can thrive, providing ongoing support and mentorship.
Drives Operational Efficiency:
Manage the annual nursing budget and resource allocation, utilizing technology to improve both clinical and financial performance.
Champions Quality Initiatives:
Partner with the Director of Quality to drive continuous improvement in resident care and staff development.
Key Qualifications:
RN licensed in New Hampshire with minimum of 10 years experience in nursing, including 3 years of progressively responsible management or leadership
Proven track record in working with individuals with multiple disabilities.
Strong clinical expertise and a deep understanding of resident needs, including medication management and complex care protocols (e.G., tracheostomy care, ventilator management).
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, preferably PointClickCare.
Demonstrated leadership ability, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and diversity.
BSN or willing to get BSN within 2 years
