Sponsorship to join ourteam and drive the success of our event sales, bookings, and sponsorship initiatives.
Role Overview:
The Director of Event Sales &
Sponsorship will be responsible for leading the sales strategy for events, booking third-party events, and securing sponsorships for all events and venues managed by PSQ Productions. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced sales leader who can develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, enhance client relationships, and expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for all events and venues.
Event Booking:
Oversee the booking of events in various venues, ensuring a diverse and high-quality event calendar that meets market demands and company goals.
Third-Party Events:
Identify and secure third-party events at existing events and venues, maximizing venue utilization and revenue opportunities.
Sponsorship Acquisition:
Develop and execute sponsorship strategies to secure partnerships for all events and venues, driving incremental revenue and enhancing event experiences.
Market Development:
Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships.
Event Opportunities:
Identify and pursue new event opportunities and potential sponsorships.
Lead Generation:
Maintain a strong pipeline of leads through effective networking and relationship building.
Market Outreach:
Sell and market to external markets including corporate events, meetings, schools, concerts, non-profits etc.
Brand Ambassador:
Act as an ambassador for events hosted by PSQ Productions, fostering relationships with individuals and corporations to maintain repeatable and predictable business while prospecting for new events.
Public Engagement:
Serve as a positive role model in both social media formats and public forums by being active and showing consistent participation in all public-facing opportunities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Ticketing and Finance teams for each event to maximize revenue and forecast revenue for future events.
Sales &
Marketing Plan:
Generate a definitive sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals which meet and exceed sales goals and budgets.
Activation Oversight:
Oversee and coordinate promotional activations to effectively market and sell PSQ Productions' events and services, driving increased engagement and sales.
Proposals:
Create and submit proposals for RFQs and RFPs with potential clients to secure business collaborations.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate and create business contracts with outside vendors.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years experience in event sales, sponsorship acquisition, and venue management, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Strong network of industry contacts and relationships.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and execute strategic sales and sponsorship plans.
Knowledge of how to use social media to drive sales, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Slack, Google Workspace, and Asana.
Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills;
ability to work with little or no direct supervision.
Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction required.
Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment desired.
Ability to handle competing priorities.
Valid driver’s license required.
