$148 - $160 / per year
A qualified candidate will lead and direct new and remodel construction initiatives for Chuze Fitness. This includes planning, budgeting, and monitoring progress for all new sites, negotiating contracts, evaluating site conditions, and developing strategies for new and remodeled club openings. As a Chuzer, you will manage the day-to-day construction functions, including construction management, project budgets, contract negotiations, and project closeout procedures.
This role requires an on-site presence in Denver, CO, 4-5 days a week.
Plan, direct, and develop new club construction procedures that achieve 6 to 10 new openings annually
Ensure the team is correctly positioned to expand the Chuze brand within the General Contractor and vendor communities.
Administers long- and short-term construction projects in support of organizational objectives
Assist the CDO and Project Management team in developing financial models, including initial budget strategies and schedules.
Evaluate potential or existing sites or structures for development/construction potential
Evaluate new market construction and budgets to ensure Chuze is strategically positioned to deliver on committed goals and expectations.
Direct and manage the construction project team.
Refine our current buildout processes, refine our current budget, and assist in the annual budgeting process
Ensure Chuze contract negotiations result in favorable terms.
Assist with local zoning and planning approvals.
Assist with developing the Chuze design, prototype, and site-specific drawings.
Keep the CDO informed of new club growth progress and potential headwinds
Work cross-functionally with the Finance team to ensure budget transparency and accuracy
Drive monthly forecasts that identify variances to plan along with risks and opportunities
Partner effectively within the team and business to drive performance
Leads and directs other employees' work and is responsible for personnel actions, including hiring, performance management, and termination.
Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with the CDO
Present project updates, annual planning/growth strategies, budgets, and future staffing needs to internal and external partners as well as the executive team
Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
Drafts and delivers employee performance reviews annually
