What you will be doing:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
Work with the Director of Sales &
Marketing to create andlaunch the Fairmont Breakers brand identity.
Work with all departments to leverage the Fairmont Breakers brand as its own unique selling feature with the support of the Fairmont identity.
Collaborate on and assist in the development key strategies for the opening of the Fairmont Breakers.
Manage all activity within the marketing department including Digital Marketing Manager, ensuring all service standards are followed.
Execute marketing plans and programs in conjunction with the Sales department to ensure profit growth.
Assist in the development and execution of the hotels’ yearly Marketing&
Communications plan in conjunction with the Director of Sales &
Marketing, and support all revenue streams (Rooms, Food &
Beverage, Spa).
Develop communication strategies and execute F&
B offerings, partnershipprograms, spa activations for local, national and international coverage across social and traditional media.
Develop a strategic plan of digital projects, campaigns and activities that will enhance the customer experience when interacting with the brand as well as increase revenue.
Oversee all marketing initiatives for the hotelwith support from the Digital Marketing Manager.
Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on.
Plan and oversee the hotels advertising and promotion activities, including print, electronic, social media and direct mail.
Communicate with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns.
Act as the primary point of contact for all Public Relations inquiries.
Proactive and reactive outreach for on-brand filming and photoshoots.
Develop a Public Relations plan for the hotel while working with outside agencies to oversee copywriting, design, layout, and the production of promotional materials.
Assist in creation of digital, video and audio content.
Spearhead monthly media and social reporting.
Liaise with Sales &
Events teams to overseered-carpet events as hotel representative.
Act as a spokesperson for the hotel and as a member of the crisis management team.
Write and disseminate press kits, releases, website copy, offerings descriptions, etc.
Oversee advertising copy and brand voice.
Update Public Relation newsroom and keep corporate Public Relations and agencies informed of all news.
Develop and maintain all media lists and contact information.
Maintain an up-to-date photo and video library, including a photographic record of all media and special events.
Follow the annual budget and administer that budget in a fiscally responsible manner.
Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs.
Follow departmental policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned
